| Has it ever occurred to anyone that the number of max points you earn should be based on the number of MAX!! you actually get? o_o Not including hold notes after the first press, of course. Meaning that playing songs with more notes (and, in general, songs that are harder) earns more potential max points. Well, that means people would just spam note heavy songs, but still, if it means more MP for me I'm game.  |

| Hmm, never thought of it that way, at least for pop/technical mixing. But yeah, it does just give what looks like a random number of max points when you finish. I might check it out next time. ___________________________  |

| I played on Popular mixing, perfect play Lovely Hand on 1st stage and Ready Now on 2nd stage, and the max point I got from both songs was exactly 390 max points.
So, I don't think that this theory is true. Except both two songs have the same no. of notes. |

| It's not really a theory. The MP rates for grades are fixed regardless of the mode that you're playing. For an F you always get 10 MP for clearing, a D gives you 145 (I think), C is 150, B is some lower 200 number, A is some higher 200 number, an all combo (regardless of grade) gives you a percentage bonus, and perfect play is worth a whopping 390 MP.
I was just saying that it would make more sense (imo) to earn MP based on every MAX!! you get, including songs that you fail (except hold notes after the first point).

| How about we find out what's the new reward system of MP in T2 lol I seen some people get 702 MP and some random number, perhaps we can work it out. |

| I'm not sure about the specific values, but I think it's based on the level of the song. The higher the level, the more MP you get, but an F will always net you 10 MP. |
