tech is a musthave . i already gave the tips on post #10 as to getting decent equip at start of game .

fever ... 3 is pretty decent to start off (LPG is your best friend) . maximum you can go is 8 .

best beginner equip
- aqua note (tech2) - 3k combo freestyle
- red gear (auto2) - get 95% in any song ?
- kaya character (tech2 def1) - clear reverse track (unlockable at lvl 15)
- mimi character (tech3 def1) - level19 auto unlock .

once you get your candy gear (tech2) and LPG note (tech2 *fever3*) at lvl 24 . you can start farming your SSS already .

honestly , you're pretty much stuck with LPG note for fever until you reach the later levels where you'll unlock the fever characters .

- Junghye character (tech3 fever3 defup1) - clear insomnia mission (clear 452 songs)
- Syria character (tech3 fever4 defup2) - clear sprinter mission (clear 482 songs)
- Jungah character (tech2 fever5 auto3) - level96
- Aimer character (tech3 fever5 defup3) - level99
- Marine character (tech3 fever5 auto3) - clear THE BOSS mission (clear 500 songs - good luck on this...)

There's no gear which gives fever though . fortunately .

Do you get it only for those 2 songs? I used to have several songs having problem with this and solved most with 2 solutions.

- Setting TR to use only 1 core to process, it works for me, open Task Manager and go to Process, look for TR.exe and Set Affinity to 1 core (If you have dual core you will see 2 cores there, 4 if it's quad)

- Maybe bad installation but when after I used the above method, Ask the Wind (Live Mix) still happens to me so I re-installed and the problem is gone O.o

Since most of you guys already got a copy of DJMAX Trilogy and played it for a long time....

Can this game be played offline?

Not to be sound noobish but I want a sure confirmation about it, since I don't see any info whether this game can be played offline or it's strictly online only. I'm already getting interested in playing this game, as I've already tried DJMAX Portable Clazziquai Edition from a friend who got a PSP and got addicted to it, but I think playing it in PC is much better for me. And I also want to play it even the online service is no longer available, just line any other PC game. (O2JAM is a nice game and I've seen a lot of players addicted to it, but since the online service is no longer available in our country I felt sorry for them as they can no longer play it, even though they can find offline variations or private servers on the net)

Whether this can be played online/offline or online only, I'm still getting this game nonetheless.

Yes you can play Offline.

On the sidenote, Pentavision have said they will give us a new update soon since the last update which is a year ago >_>

if you only played Clazzi , you're going to struggle alot in trilogy .

Yeah, that might be the case. Heck, Clazziquai is already hell for me on 5 to 8 button mode. >.<

Everthing comes down to practice, so as long as there are songs (and its difficulties) that I can practice comfortably it's pretty much fine for me. As a saying goes "take one step at a time".
