| This thread became a 'HOW TO GET FERMION IN SPECIALIST' thread LOL.
ANyway grats to all who've passed sp6, imo its harder to clear sos sp in sp6 as compared to specialist.

| Oh, it's definitely harder in Specialist, but if you start the song with your bar full, I think anyone who can pass SP6 will be fine.
I'm a bit confused as to how you get the different final songs. I've never got Fermion, and I've done pretty shockingly and managed to get SoS...what percentages are needed for each song?

| Okay, so that is accurate. I just don't know how I've managed to totally mess up everything and start SoS with just over 1/4 life (and, obviously, then fail it).
Still, thanks for the confirm!

To be honest, no one here is sure what is the maximum number of bad notes u can get before u get enemy storm (with hss).. As for fermion... 70%. Good luck cool attacking like mad. Son of sun sp, why i feel its easier in specialist is coz of the hp bar reduction. Because most ppl should only have massive problems at the ending (just generalising here), and with PC's Cumulative hp bar drops.... U're more likely to survive in spec than on sp6. Assuming u entered the last bit with a full hp bar for both sp6 and specialist.

| Singapore wise....
SP6 Clear:
Dango Pas Helix Seth Lacus -White- Riezz Izumi Konata Uguuu~ Saddy Azure
As for ppl who have cleared specialist...
Dango Helix Pas Azure Seth Riezz Izumi
Singapore's a small country, so region wise we have the least ppl to have cleared sp6/spec.

| I really need help in terms of getting fermion sp so I wanna ask, when you guys cool attack, do you normally hit the keys earlier or later (faster or slower)? so far from everyone that I know of yaojenis is the only one who uses the delaying-effect when cool attacking and it works wonders as he almost NEVER break. Aya and Albert both have the habit of pressing two neighboring notes simultaneously to cool attack(eg fury and hexad) | |

| I was gonna ask the same thing... I can't cool attack for shit. It's either a max or a break.. so if I do it too much, just fail. | |

My cool attack strategy is to wait for three even notes and delay the second one. So instead of O-O-O, I'll play O--OO. That usually gets a cool and ensures I'm still on-rhythm and don't break, but it requires that you know the song pretty well, and tbh doesn't rack up that many cools. I also play simultaneous notes separately - so the idea to do it the other way around seems like a nice idea to me, and I'll try that one out next time! XD

| @Haku I delay pressing. That's how I've done it for everything >_> Heartbeat, Custo, Challenger >_>
I also do the press-2-near-notes-simultaneously.
also, in my mind I chant "MUST GET COOLS". I don't care if I miss much, though. lol.

| Progress update, today I spent 5 credits on three SP6 and two Specialist. The order is SP6 > Specialist > SP6 > Specialist > SP6. And the first play ended with...YOU FAILED. The next play on specialist, somehow, I managed to clear the set!! In this play, I passed the half of the song with the HP bar stick around stage 1 line. After THAT LAST PART, the HP decrease to a little bit less than stage 3 line. This is, indeed, my best SOS SP play at this moment. My luck still on my side, I passed SP6 in the next time. This time, not have much HP left. And that's the end of my lucky time. the next 2 plays end with...failed...... Well, the result should be a proof that the method i used to clear the last part of SOS SP is really not reliable. I am not sure that I should stick with this method and try to improve it or find a new way to play it, but I guess that I would just stick with the first one. Hope that after spam credits on SOS SP days after day I will master this song. | |

| I press early as well but when it comes to drags and purples all hell breaks loose, I tried simultaneously pressing two keys but it fucks up my sense of rhythm, hmm but thanks for the ideas steph, I'll experiment some delay pressing with custo the next time | |

| ^i find it hard to cool drags. if you rush it, it'll miss...slow down it becomes all max or all misses. lol. for holds it's easier, you can try pressing earlier then just hold it. It becomes a loooong good but it'll help a lot esp. with unlocking fermion.
@Adziu the decimals must've been cut-off by the machine o.o so it looks like it never reaches a hundred lol.

Hope that after spam credits on SOS SP days after day I will master this song. Ur hexad is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD... Yeap sos is the type where its very technical, so its actually easier to get a high score compared to songs like end of the fuuu-light... @ the topic of cool attacking, Personally i do a mix and mash of everything. Speed up, delay, pressing 2 notes close together as one, as well as vic's nifty method of cool attacking...

| Having watched a couple of people consistently failing SP6, I really think the inversion parts are so much easier if you don't insist on playing all the pinks with one hand and the purples with the other. People stretch so far and get all muddled, while I just press the leftmost repeater and the pinks with my left hand, hitting the top repeater in between. Here, this might explain better. Where Lt = Left thumb, L1 = left pointer finger and L2 = left middle finger. Obviously letters by the bars are hits on the repeater button. This way you have a nice easy LRLR 8th notes for the second half of these bars, and I actually now find them the easy parts of the section, where so many people seem to be dying. | |

Its the easiest way to do this section. However, my fingers tend to sync better pressing all the purples with my right hand.
