Hey Sticks if I had a fail wallpaper (800x600) and I wanted it as a template, will it turn out good? I mean consider the card is pretty small... and how do you fit it to the HQ template..?

It should be ok, since the final product is so small. You'd need to stretch it to fit unfortunately.

Yo is there a way to easier stretch the layer other than trial error? the method getting old and tiring and it seems like I should know how to do it if there was a function like that..

Are you using the image resize?

Free Transform on PS works wonders. Select the section (or the whole image, ctrl+a) and press ctrl+t. Hold shift while you drag the corner and it'll keep the aspect ratio. I don't like blowing up small images though so I tend not to do that too often.

I used to use resize (only because I didn't know about keeping aspect ratio with shift). Thanks to this guy on another forum, he rudely yet effectively taught me of shift

You should go through all the tools on the side and learn what they are and what they're used for, even just the basic functions. They'll replace half of the crap in the menus.
