| oh hey rank 13 .. noooot baaad at all
i still find it funny im rank 32 TP-NR (or should we just call it NR?) after not playing for like 2 weeks only got nudged down one rank after that time, but the gap between me and the person above me is like, 26k, yeesh
gonna need to actually not muck around in the lower sets for a change, hah
and to find if someone plays on a machine, just wait till the screen rolls over to high scores and have a look check his scores against the top 5 of each set, if his score for X set SHOULD be on that screen, then he has not played on that machine for that set, so check the rest of the sets. if there are no matches, then he hasent played there (or gotten his records there anyway) should only take around a minute per machine, so it shouldnt take that long
i cant really think of any other methods apart from asking around really

| ^oh really? not from what I heard from albert, he told me something like they have 3 machines but no one plays it, the highest dj title he saw there was a professional dude, and he plays the last dance, stop and divine service for heartbeat =_= meh he could be in the wrong arcade | |

| But, but, but, BEBEAU is god @_@ Jokes aside, I'm not really saying there is a lot of them are like BEBEAU.. but their level is above an amateur, which is good enough to pass customiser or challenger.. I might be wrong since I've never been to Melbourne.. | |

| You'd be surprised how many above Amateur cant pass Customizer and Challenger. (You're talking about HSS right? If not then it doesn't count) There are a LOT of arcades in Melbourne with Technika, what Haku said might be true, wrong Arcade. I still think the majority of the good players are squished into Sydney, with only our TWO PC ONLINE machines which are BOTH located in the CBD. *pouts* | |

| I'm referring to non HSS, I wouldn't not say they would try to even attempt HSS.. I'll take back my Melb statement... there's quite a handful of good players here.. | |

| LOWER ranks dont really mean TOO much, as video watching HUGELY affects your personal skill level after a certain point you really need actual experience to get better
for example, i finished heartbeat as BEGINNER (it was the first set i played, and i jumped into it after 2 games of popular mode, non-hss of course), customizer on amateur, then challenger on sub dj (on the day i hit sub dj), otherwise i probably would have finished it on like, rookie
until .. lets say, middleman, i dont expect peoples levels to be a CLEAR indicator, but anything above main dj should have a somewhat linear relation between skill and rank
in other words, < amateur = noob < middleman = (cant precisely tell, but on average higher = better) => middleman = should be exp <-> skill

| ^huh, you think you're baaaaad aye then does that mean that aya and I should've acquitted god-like skills by now? lol he told me this morning that he should retire after seeing that he's played customizer set for 5 months now where I've been playing it properly for just 2 weeks and I can play sos better than him lol It's totally variable I think, as far as I know hes the only one Ive seen who can consecutively fc hexad and pp cos but can't play melody and sos, I on the other hand can play fermion and final effect along with the sps but I still can't play eotm, flea and ladymade star for shits worth. Theres always stuff that we're better at and others that need alot of work, for people who thinks that dj title actually mean something, then yeah....youve proli got god-given talents | |

| Ermm.. I didn't really relate any of my opinion to ranks.. If you think I did, I do not know anyone's rank in melbourne other than Kymmie and I know she isn't the competitive type.. before taking back my opinion, I forgot that I do know anyone in melbourne in person and it was out of whim that I said it out.. That why I took it back..
And about ranks.. I'm mix master and I know people can do better in other sets than me that are below ranks (Kei-kun).. A better example is Harry (ANIIME) He's beating me in EXP although same rank, and he does not play competitively..

I'd agree with Variable, some people are meant to be good, some aren't but then again it takes time. ;D
