DJ Max Meet Ups

it's not too bad =], when technika first came out, i actually had this strange anxiety about playing it because i've been so used to being better than the majority of people with DDR and other dancing related games - i had a hand full of people saying 'so you're gonna be good at this now?' and i couldn't get myself to play it.

lols then kissycat basically kept telling me to try it, and it doesn't matter if i sucked .. (but it does -_-)...
but after i tried it, i went to gsgw when it wasn't so busy at the time - and spent the next 4 hours just passing everything on popular basically, met dj Tarr when he was still around - and then eventually i ended up going almost every day ^_^

SO YEAH!!!! you know what? i'm gonna make another thread that relates to this post. bbs.

Purple (well actually just a regular VIP card from back in the day when only VIP and Gold existed... RIP Chatswood TZ), the free games should still have the same conditions though...

Nope, apparently only gold and sapphire had the free games. Regular VIP had 5 free yellow swipers games, whereas, gold has 5 free games and sapphire had 10..
It was a small double credit event hosted by TZGS only because the half price packages were shit.. The normal double credit event will occur next two months.. Which Regular VIP gets 5 free games, as gold gets 10 and sapphire gets 15..

Ouch, $250 min for a Gold. Not bad but considering I rarely go there...

Ah, I see. Well at least now they acknowledge my old, old spending at Chatswood TZ and now I'm $20 off a gold card (yay!)

how would you actually know the remainder needed for a gold card ?

Ask how much your card accumulated to and how much credit left in order to upgrade, whether it is a gold or sapphire or heck, Platnium.

my issue is i'm almost always at GSGW, but if there's a huge bustle of people over at TZ, someone sms me to come over or something!! (considering i actually have credit on my tz card now)

I usually hop back and forth when there's a lot of people at GSGW, sometimes there's ppl at TZ sometimes not. I'm guessing for the next week or so TZ's going to be packed? still have credits from Sunday everyone? lol

Then again it shouldn't be going into the Technika machine.

Of course ^_^ Put it this way, sure each game is approx. $2, but atleast when there's tonnes of people we're like.. socialising and stuff...... besides its waay more fun to play with friends than not (or make new ones too)

Yeah, I guess that's right.
It makes you spend less if there is many people out waiting to play the machine as well.

GWGS is a great place to discuss about technika while waiting in line... although it could have been done in TZ.. Also the machines don't give random breaks as much as TZ.. Though I can't believe TZ technika helped BEBEAU get to first place on challenger and second on customiser? DUE to the random register.. So good man..
