for me, not really. the releases for anime has decreased drastically compared to anime releases during 2006-2008 which were 306 and 288 compared to last year's and this year's releases(to-be-released included).

no offense. but I personally hate most of this year's and last year winter's anime releases. of which the most prominent ones are moe-blob/fan-service shows. which are of course don't have/almost don't have a plot and have stereotypical characters.

I might sound like some Anime nazi, but I really think anime releases back then are much much more superior compared to now.

but some animes that are gonna get released this spring season look decent. just like sticks said, only a few of the few animes going to be released are in the moe/fan-service genre, but Winter 2010's releases are just....

though I must say, that fan-service shows, do an excellent job in making my head cool-off. but still, too much fan-service is dangerous for the anime industry.

Well, it's not in the quantity of anime released. And it doesn't mean that moe = no plot. Take Sora No Woto for example.

Gonna wait for Heroman here, produced by Studio BONES (responsible for producing Eureka Seven, Fullmetal Alchemist, Darker than Black, and Soul Eater) what's more is that, the story itself is written by Stan Lee
