| hey guys just got this email, figured you'd all be interested if you're from sydney or close to it =]
SMASH! 2010 is coming to Sydney Town Hall on Saturday August 7th!
Wait, that's not the right line...
YŪKO MIYAMURA and TIFFANY GRANT are coming to Sydney Town Hall on Saturday August 7th!
Yeah, that's better.
The Japanese seiyū and the American voice actor for Evangelion's Asuka are our VIP Guests at SMASH! this year. Neon Genesis Evangelion is a landmark in anime history, and SMASH! is honoured to bring you the voices behind this ground-breaking series.
We're also proud to announce as a special guest MATT GREENFIELD!
Matt is a co-founder of ADV Films and one of the pioneers in the Western anime industry. ADV Films was responsible for releasing Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hellsing, Rurouni Kenshin, Azumanga Daioh, Noir and many, many more.
Tickets for the convention will be $20 for advance sales and $25 for at-the-door. We'll have an announcement about when tickets go on sale soon. There's still lots of exciting news about this year to tell you, so keep your eyes on the blog, join our DeviantArt group, friend us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter (social media whores).

| i havn't been to a mini before.. usaully because there isn't a ddr/itg tournement. Are they worth going to?

| is that the town hall where animania was a while ago? if so yay, i like that venue, and it's not all the way in unsw too so no rushing to register for tournaments, haha |

| So like Sticks.. I heard you are an executive member of an anime club AND a regular staff for smash and animania.. If so.. I'm sure you have every authority to ask for permission to BORROW a techinka machine for smash AND animania day =P |

| I'm not a staff member per se, just a regular volunteer. I've got some limited rapport with some managers/staff from Animania and SMASH but that's about it. Dunno about influencing decisions, lol Guess I should find out who the games manager is.  ___________________________ |

| doesn't hurt to ask.. though I'm sure they'd say no without a high price for lending.. even that... transporting and wiring will all have to be the one borrowing it.. doubt it'll be online but that irrelevant..
I was hoping more for animania since smash hardly has any arcades around except for the ones that's already at the roundhouse.. |
