the most disgusting you've ever seen on a technika player

earlier today i saw this player everytime the song loads he puts his fingers in his mouth I've really lost my mood to play technika today because of that

THAT GUY HAS REALLY NO MANNERS AND RESPECT FOR OTHER PLAYERS

the timezone machine seems pretty suspicious to me now after what albert told me....I mean, do they ever clean it? Everytime I touch the screen it feels like I'm digging my fingers into a layer of splattered-dried muckus *hair sticks up*

ugh...and to think that anna once used my cloth to wipe the screen...the cloth that I use to clean my glasses with...good thing I didn't end up with trachoma

Yeah, a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a cloth goes a long way. Or one of those make-up removing wipes with alcohol already on it. (needs the alcohol)

hey hey I visit here at least once a week, calm down.

staff here are instructed to clean the machine frequently. if there is a massive line of people then obviously it is harder -_- but if asked we will clean it of course.

Also FYI you are only supposed to use a lint-free cloth damp with water to clean the touch screen. Should not be using alcohol at all, it can cause damage to the touch screen. I don't want our Technika machine to end up with the same problems that the Photo Machine had for awhile....

The other arcade are brave supplying disinfectant spray... it is so easy for someone to spray too much and it gets under the touch screen and damages things. Remember the no drinks on the machine rule?

And here I thought the "touchscreen" was infra-red, just a glass panel. It's just that we have to bug staff on the counter to clean the screen every now and then.

That no drinks on the machine rule, i'm assuming it's open drinks only? And I get the feeling it's 'ok' if it's kept on that ledge behind the screen where if it does fall, it'll fall onto the bags, rofl

Closed drinks would be ok except it can encourage people to put other drinks there. I let people put drinks on the ledge because they are less likely to knock it over there compared with their feet -_-, the important thing is to keep drinks away from the touch screen and card reader as a spill will definitely be bad there. Though drinks spilt anywhere cause problems. Our terms and conditions sign actually says no food or drink in the store allowed.

Sticks, if staff aren't cleaning it frequently like they should be or do not oblige when you request (counter serving permitted) then please report to Kevin or myself so we can rectify that. Machine screens are supposed to be cleaned regularly and obviously touch screens more often than that.

Technika manual says "the screen is not water proof" and "use clean and soft cloth which does not have ammonia stuff to clean it out the screen. Do not use any thing its acidity or affects the screen". Yes the manual is very Engrish lol

No problem. It's just that staff seem to be occupied whenever the screen actually does need cleaning. No way around that I guess.

lol it's kind of a rule that we enforce when needed. ie person spilling popcorn everywhere. we just make sure people don't put drinks in stupid places, like at their feet (so they knock it when they get up) or on the edge of air hockey -_-;; And any drink left unattended is binned. Have had to clean up a few spills on the floor. More important that it isn't near power/machines. Some idiot spilt coke all over Tekken once. I had to throw out all the buttons, even after cleaning they were unusable.

Manual just has English iirc... it just sucks. It didn't even show where to plug in the vibration speaker in the stage o_o

Omg at the tekken spiltage... I don't think it was us.. even though its mostly us that plays on tekken machines..
well at least our hands hardly go anywhere near it.. when playing..
