Old Features upgradeInterface- Better note recognisation compared to Technika1.
- The notes were a little bigger than Technika1. Of course, more colorful!
Song Selection Screen- 9 squares with each represent the song on each page. New songs are listed in the first page and the old songs in Technika1 will be in the rest of the pages. Random Selection is available now as well.
- There will also be a trophy icon at the top left of the square to show your best grade of each song. Gold Trophy = S or higher, Silver Trophy = A or higher. Background in the Trophy indicates the difficulty of the song it belongs to (So a Red background Gold Trophy on Oblivion = You got a S or above grade in Oblivion MX)

Score System- All songs score have been standardised to 300,000 regardless of amount of notes in the chart. There are 2 parts in scoring 300,000 - 290,000 + 10,000
1st Part: 290,000BREAK = 0
MISS = 0
GOOD = 40% of Rainbow MAX!!
COOL = 70% of Rainbow MAX!!
GREEN MAX!! = Rainbow MAX!! - 1
RAINBOW MAX!! = 290,000/No. of Notes
P.S Hold note is considered as 1 note now, the only thing it retain is the combo it gives (which doesn't do anything score-wise, wow)
A Rainbow Perfect Play will net you 290,000 in other words.
2nd Part: 10,000The remaining 10,000 is the combo bonus.
All Combo = 9,800
Perfect Play = 10,000
Fever BonusWhile Fever, each non-Rainbow MAX will gives you an additional 1 point and will be shown under "Fever Bonus" in the result screen.
Song Difficulty- Song Difficulty have been changed to old version (PP/TP/SP = NM/HD/MX) and is now recognised by looking @ the color of the disc image, NM = Yellow, HD = Blue, MX = Red.
- Not all songs difficulty will transfer to the same rank of Technika2 version. i.e. EotM TP = EotM MX while EotM SP = EotM HD
Game ModeStar Mixing- AKA Lite Mixing in Technika1
- No Fever system in Star Mixing but will be replaced with Guide mode (the stupid hand/finger that tells you when to press)
Duo Mixing- New Co-Op play, screen will be divided to left and right, notes are different in each screen. Song BGA will be replaced with a Duo-Mixing BGA.
- ONLY available in Star Mixing

Club Mixing- New Non-stop Remix consist of 1 VERY VERY LONG song of the set.
- Each Club set will have a preview of songs in the set before you choose the Set
- There's also 6 songs to choose from the list instead of 7 in Technika1
- Club score tracked in Platinum Crew is now total sum of ALL 8 songs in the club set, resulting in 2400,000 (8 * 300,000) being the cap for Rainbow Perfect Play.
Max Score for Non-stop Remix will be 1,200,000 for each chart. (So Son of Sun EXT Remix will have 3,600,000 as cap while NB Ranger EXT Remix will have 2,400,000 as cap)
- Revised system of getting specific boss song
In Technika1, the boss song you get at 4th stage is determined by your performance in the first 3 songs (95% MAX above or below usually)
In Technika2, this system have been revised accordingly to the song you play. All 6 songs in the Club Set will be given a number from left to right. 1 to 6 and there will be a value threshold in each set determined by the difficulty.
Easy: 11
Normal: 11
Hard: 12
Very Hard: 13
Maniac: 14
The sum total of the 3 songs will be compared against the threshold, if it's equal or higher, you will be playing the higher boss song else you will get lower boss song.

If you play Sweet Dream + Ladymade Star + First Kiss, you will have 6 + 3 + 1= 10 which is lesser than 11 resulting in your boss song = Someday HD
If you play Sweet Dream + Here in the Moment + I Want You, you will have 6 + 5 + 2 = 12, which is higher than 11 resulting in your boss song = Trip HD
Note: This system applied under Very Hard Performance set means to play the higher boss song, you MUST play the last song in the set. ( Next highest combination is 5 + 4 + 3 = 12 which is < 13 = lower boss song)
This system applied under Maniac Performance set means to play the higher boss song, you MUST play the last song AND 2nd last song in the set. ( Next highest combination is 6 + 4 + 3 = 13 which is < 14 = lower boss song)

Crew Race- Similar to Club Tour in Clazziquai/BlackSquare.
- Fever doesn't work in this mode.
- Certain DJ rank is required before you can form a Crew (it costs MP to form one as well). Crew Point will determine the ranking and can be earnt though each Crew member's activity.
- Crew leader can create their Crew Course and select 1 of their Crew Course for Crew Match purpose. Crew Match are categorised into Platinum, Gold and Silver and each Crew will be able to challenge different categories depending on the amount of Crew Point they have.

New FeaturesFever!!- Located @ where "BGM Boost" is located in Technika1.
- Fever gauge will be line that splits the top and bottom frame. The gauge will increase for each note hit and will be shorten each time you break/miss (almost half of the whole bar)
How it works - When Fever is activated, a counter will start counting the amount of notes you have hit during that period, after the period ends, Fever will + 1 point to score for each non-Rainbow MAX (Green MAX, COOL, GOOD)
Repeat+Holding Note- Mix between the blue hold and purple repeat note in Technika1.
How it works E.g.
O is the first note

So in this case you will start with O and play like normal repeat at |, and press O when it reaches = till the end. many variations is possible for this new note
