So considering our group size, the best choices are apparently...

1. Bowling
2. BBQ.

+1 for bowling, its fun, and can accommodate a large number.

Plus its cost worthy!

lol err BBQ east coast? i think that gets a -5 immediately since alot ppl live west side? (alot ppl in the east too but thats not the point) we cant have a bbq at cine can we?

+6 bowling. I think kollin can help to book for lanes at public alley, whereas i can book lanes at private clubs. Depends on what u guys wants.

Actually, u're wrong. Most of the guys here live in the east... Back story: Number of ppl who joined technika increased alot when Tamp1 got their first machine.

But then again... East coast seems a lil inconvenient unless its a weekend (with 401).

public lanes:

3 bucks a game (4.10 without nebo)
tend to cram 1 quadrillion people into 1 lane
1buck for shoes

private lanes at my club
15 bucks a pax
includes 2 hours of bowling
includes shoe rental
1 lane 5 person.

+1 for bowling at zhenyu's club

on my agaration , depending on how fast u guys play .

2 hours of bowling per lane = ~12-20 games .
12-20 games + 5 shoes = $41-65 = $8-16 per person .

Unless u wanna play damn fast and risk getting abrasions then i dont mind playing double the speed ...

bowling average game rate is 6-8 (usually 6) games per hour per lane. the numbers are used when i was still organizing compys for my school. taken from old coaches.

6x2/5=2.4 games per person assuming 2 hours on 2 lanes. lets say we play 3 games.

3x3(nebo rate) + 1(shoe rental) = 10 dollars.

if we can get club per game rate it would be even better. i was calculating the per hour per lane rate at zhenyu's club = 37.50. abit high. board rate per game might be cheaper. just the booking will be a pain.

im not for public lanes cos usually they will try to cram everyone in one lane, usually 8 if they know we dont bowl competitively. it will be so slow its kinda pointless to play. im assuming we wont be down on off peak hours since school is starting so i cant negotiate for more lanes cos there will be alot of ppl.

@zhenyu : can check out the per game rates for your club? last i remember its quite cheap as well. =]

@kollin its cheap cuz its guest day ma... guest day rates are $0.70 a game for member, $1.50 a game for guest. normal rates will be $1.50 for member and $3 or 3.50 for guest

@kyo : not that i wanna burst your bubble, but isnt 3 or 3.50 still cheaper than the 2 hour thingy? pls read calculation above. i thot your club better cos wun cram us mah. i dont mind making the booking but cfm cram us in the lanes like sardines in a can. canned sardines are never happy.

Okay lets assume we play 3games each.

Club rate per game.

$3 x 3 = $9
shoes $1
total is $10

however, i can only book 2 lanes if we go by games.

Compared to

2hours (3 games = $9)
shoes ($1)
finger food ( assume $3 a person)
for this, its 5 person a lane, so if we got 20 ppl, its 4 lanes. Depends on what u guys wan. Im okay with anything. Just dont last min

finger food i prefer tapao from 7-11 . they always jack up the prices in the bowling alley .

My club's pool room not available sorry. Any other ppl with private clubs? Theres another place that has pool is at grandlink square. Near payalebar. Bt crapy tables, exhorbitant price.
