I see something there about difficulty? That might change how lenient the touch window is...
Also i'm positive i saw a sensor calibration option; I saw one of our techies fiddling around with it and a calibration screen came up with a four-point touchscreen test. I knoeI know that's different to the 'touch screen test' since I've also seen them on a blank screen and touching anywhere would correspond with that area lighting up.

Also about the touchscreen; it's an infrared sensor which i'm assuming calculates disruptions to its beam based on X and Y co-ordinates.
Makes sense actually once you consider what happens when you touch the screen in different ways - You can touch multiple areas along the Y-Axis and it'll register because the timeline is moving left-right/right-left.
Touching different parts of the screen (not on the same X-Axis, e.g. fever button, purple and pink note somewhere else) will register them at the same time since it'll be able to calculate different points.
Touching different points along the X-axis will work BUT since the timeline is moving horizontally it can only register ONE note touch on that line.

I'm also sure there's some technical jibber-jabber with the infrared screen and being able to purple note bug/blue hold note bug but my brain is hurting. Maybe later. Maybe also why Penta didn't bother fixing the bugs because it'd mean re-doing how the system handles breaks to the infrared beams.
