iluma tornado called me , and they told me that they are enthusiastic on carrying out a competition as well .

i'll be meeting their ambassador tmr .

Ask them if their competition is one-off or league-based?

If competition based I can think up of new game systems but I am completely of no help when it comes to "meeting up with people".

u can do it as a qualifying system or a one-off system

one-off -> just one day spend few hours qualify settle sua , then finals on the day itself .

qualifier -> a whole week to qualify , then we have a "finals day" in the weekend .

either way , they dont mind . they just want input .

I'd rather 3 days to qualify like this.

First Day - Free-for-all, a moderately okay set for the players, like, the no-upgrade high score set (Miles, Remember, 4S). Top 16 scorers (or 50% of players if less than 16) advance to Second Day.

Second Day - Heartbeat Starter Set. If they get Area 7, a bonus 130k will be added to final total as a reward for accuracy. Top 8 scorers (or again 50% of this) will advance to Final Day.

Final Day - SP 2 or 4, or Challenger HSS. If they can achieve Fermion, then a bonus 100k will be applied to the final score. Winner takes all, or 1st-2nd-3rd-4th placing.

That is my idea atm.

we playing in cheena machine right? how to put unlocks =\... dun think that bonus points (heartbeat set you mentioned) should be included since cool attacking is part of the game also, just my 2 cents, otherwise the others mentioned (first day) sounds good

I think the idea is to reward accurate play rather than cool attacking... for a change.

Let's not ask people to do the things they're used to in order to win but rather, do something they're not used to so it brings in the true skill level into play.

Besides, in this way it rewards skilled players more since, well, it is accuracy testing. The scrappers will probably have NO problems getting the under 95% songs, which is precisely why I wanted to use this way to reward and encourage accurate players.

It's fine to me, it's sort of a way to make Area7 part of HSS. lol

Iluma machine think need someone to use empty card to use mods? lol

Hmmm... challenger hss. Getting fermion and dying. Straight dq right?

Using Sp 2 would be preferred over 4, as, put simply, the songs are generally harder. The accuracy test will be a greater challenge then.

As for second day...

Using HB Hss can also be done. Area 7 bonus score should be lower though. x;
