Your TECHNIKA 2 experiences

Well, I'm pretty sure that more than half of the people here in the PH region of the forum have already gone to G4 to play Technika 2.. XD So guys, what are your different opinions/experiences/thoughts regarding the much-awaited sequel to our beloved arcade game? Feel free to share your feedback here~ XD


---First of all, I find the interface colors...GAY. XD Yes, rainbows are <3 but then again I'd rather stick to the old dark interface. XD

---The bigger notes are trickier to press..Like what Mjolnir said, the smaller notes are easier to hit in terms of accuracy

---Song list: AWESOME. I'm so happy that they even have unreleased SPs in POP mode

---The price is worth it, even though it doesn't have OL status yet. Heck, even the time spent on waiting is worth it in the end. XD

---Fever system = kinda meh for me. It doesn't really amount to much IMHO (i thought that it would be a combo multiplier like in our beloved DMPortable games), but it adds to the challenge~ (unless you're like me who needs someone else to press the fever button..im too lazeehh) XD

---WHY IS MAI SOS TP SLOWER? D:

Technika 2 experience: Napakasaya, haha! Sa una, inisip ko baka later this year pa lalabas, so promise ako sa sarili ko na hindi ako dadayo ng G4 (most likely unang release area) at mapapagod para lang makalaro ng 2 games at umuwi na.

Eh narinig ko na meron na... Sumugod ako ng maaga sa G4 para man lang maka 2 rounds sa pila.

Good things: Nalaro ko na rin ung mga malulufet na kanta galing Signature Collection (La Campanella especially!). Mas beginner-friendly yung bagong Technical sets (recalling very painful First Step experience from Technika 1). Mas sulit na Pop mode, kasi first stage pa lang may mga high-level songs na (no more struggling to find a challenging first stage song).

Bad things: Definitely the new color scheme of the interface. Black+pink definitely beats White+rainbows. Nakakapanibago rin yung rainbow max at green max. Pati Fever rin, kasi di ako nakalaro nung ibang DJMax games, kaya di ako sanay. Medyo weird rin yung ranking system. Di ko alam kung masasayahan ako na S yung grade ko sa Idol set, kasi di ko alam kung gano kataas yun compared sa iba.

Pero overall, talong talo nung good things yung bad things, and napakasaya nung experience na yun. Besides first try ko ng Technika 2, yun rin ang unang dayo ko sa G4, and nakita ko ang tunay na laki ng Technika community.

But I like how T2 can preview the MV of the song before playing (pop mode).

Yung Fever nakaka-praning. Nung first time ko maglaro, hinintay ko ung tamang time para i-press tapos yun pala half full nalang ule. Nababawas pala kasi pag nag m-miss x_x

Medyo di ko parin gets ung grading system. I have observed na getting an "S" is commonplace. But, it's cool narin kasi parang nakaka-encourage. xD

Despite having to cut my course audit class today (lol) di ako nagsisi dahil I enjoyed my short plays. xD

Hanggang ngayon di ko parin maintindihan ang fever sa T2 @_@

nung una kong laro, im just a beginner even in technika1, failed ang 2 credits ko,
pero ang saya ko kasi may In My Dream - ND Lee

pero masaya padin. POP Mode looks so Different.

Waited for around 30 minutes sa G4 then played for teh first timeee!!! O: (last last tuesday ito hehe)

I tried SuperSpeed first since I wanted to see/finish d2 before I try anything else lawl.

First try: Failed Bee-u-tiful on third stage...
Second to Nth play: failed in d2

I say it was fun meheheheh. It's just weird how the songs seem slower and the notes, fatter o.o

Love the interface, the colors, and pop mode with SPs. New songs are nice too XD

ang bagal ng judgement line in some of the songs. tapos kahit malaki yung notes eh nagmimiss pa rin ako.



Has anybody noticed the changes with how the judgement line goes in and out of the top frame to bottom and vice versa? dati kasi kahit hindi pa tapos yung judgement line sa top frame, lumalabas na agad yung siya sa bottom. pero sa T2, tinatapos ng judgement line and isang full frame bago pumunta sa next.

Lol ibang iba ung D2 sa youtube ) Sobrang bilis amp. Pero masaya ung T2 kasi mas malaki ung notes tska merong fevaaahhhh!

Experience..
Okay nmn sya, although di p ko nagaadapt kasi dahil sa T1,
nalilito dun sa malalaking notes hehehe
at pati n din dun sa colorful style nya...
lalo na sa fever!!!
pero overall, masaya sya laruin,...
sure ako na mas exciting to pag OL na ang machine!!!

1st Experience:
Nung malaman kong rainbow theme...naalala ko ang ROBOT UNICORN tapos cue in ng sounds ng Always by Erasure. As of the notes, ang arte ang hirap pindutin ng sakto. Effects...ansakit sa mata pero masaya. Songs...nuff said, THE BEST! Syempre pati ang all-time favorite na XLASHER!

As of now, parang nadagdagan nanaman ang mga kantang pagaaralan ko

interface= colorful (yeahh mas lively tignan haha)
mas solve yung pop mode. (yay TP/SP's agad)
okay din fever kaso you'll most likely get someone to press it fo you. may times na hirap mag fever eh haha.
and yeah, love the bigger notes hahaha.

yeahhh hahaha wouldn't mind going back to G4 for more.

LOL ROBOT UNICORN xD Kulang na lang ilagay sa T2 mismo yung kantang "Always" by Erasure eh. xD

for me:

- nakakaaliw yung bagong interface, lalo na sa pop, it's so flashy~
- ang saya ng mga bagong kanta, lalo na Eternal Fantasy at La Campanella - Nu Rave
- ok naman sa akin yung size of notes, although it does remind me of lite mixing in a way~
- Heart of Witch HD. LSS much xD

overall masaya yung experience~ It's fun playing the new songs and trying out the old songs sa T2~ Wouldn't mind going to g4 again just to play~ ^^

Experience ko:
masya sya kase nandun yung favorite ko yung heart of witch~

maganda kase makulay ang buhay colorful hehe ganda nung pagkagawa nakakapangakit yung T2.

nilaro ko una pop mode yung Cosmic Fantastic Love Song ang ganda rin nun.

nilaro ku yung superspeed set ginaya ku lang yung set pattern ni Kuya Ran hehe Dark envy, SOS TP at Space of soul 4 games game over kulang life sa space of soul nung last game umabot din sa Ask to wind live mix kaso na dead din hehe nauuna ako hehe.

yung sa fever naman napagisipan ku na para hindi magbreak kailangan pagpindot ka ng note sabay sa fever para hindi magbreak pero challenging yung fever kase mahihirapan ka pindutin pagmabilis na yung song at minsan hindi mu alam punu na.

Pero overall SObrang Ganda hehe sana magkarun na sa ibang Timezone at magkacard na~ nyah~

Re: MV preview of songs @Kanata: OMG how could I forget that?! <3 Before I play my 3rd stage (or was that 2nd? i forgot XD) in Pop mode, I always spam the Trip MV <3 haha

The lines aren't really a problem for me.. it's just a matter of getting used to it in the long run.. XD Plat crew nga dati 64+ swipes eh.. hohoho XD

My Experience and what i notice about the game

- bigger note = more difficult to MAXX and cramped notes (eg. remember, ssss, melody etc)
- always having a finger injury when i play XD
- Still a little hype about the game
- Have made my goal for the mean time (Bee-u-tiful -no bug- and D2)
- ano pa ba??? hehehe
- gained new friends (ATC and southside guys) kilala nyo na kung sino kayo hehe.

Anywhoot... Isang beses palang ako nakakalaro... Mejo nakaka-disorient yung Green na Max. Di pa ko sanay makakita ng green at rainbow max. Ang lalaki pa ng notes. Haha! I need to practice meh accuracy.. XD

Sobrang makulay din.. PZZLR theme *faint*

Wala naman akong problema sa malaking notes at mas gusto ko ung design dahil shiny... Saya ng Electro Beat at Super Speed. Kakatamad nga lang pumunta ng G4 kaya hihintayin ko na lang magkaroon sa MoA.

Hey guys just sharing,

bawas na tao sa technika 2 usually mga 4 swipes nalang nakikita ko pag weekday. daan kayo pag may time kayo para everybodeh happeh XD

(pakilala narin kayo weeee! XD)

nahihiya ako maglaro sa G4 hahaha. IDK why, newbish kasi haha.
pero punta dun for T2 is the sh-t. (LOL its so fluffy i'm gonna die)
